Gary Britton appointed to KBC Bank Ireland board

KBC Bank Ireland has appointed Gary Britton as a non-executive director. 

Britton retired from KPMG Ireland in 2011 after 22 years as a partner. During this time he served in a number of senior positions including on the firm’s board and its risk committee and as head of its audit practice. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

"His experience of advising corporate Ireland over the past 22 years as a partner with KPMG will be valuable to the board as we continue to manage our business in Ireland.”

KBC Bank Ireland has been operating in Ireland for over 35 years and has been a member of the KBC Group since 1978. It employs 500 people in Dublin, Limerick, Cork, Belfast and Galway.
