Io reveals new business wins
01.02.2012
Io Group, which is made up of io in Dublin and London and Robot & Child in Los Angeles, has announced a number of new digital and social media-based projects in Ireland, the UK and the US for brands that include eHarmony, Danone, Sysnet Global Solutions, Mobile Deluxe and Shelton Distributors.
The company said that io Dublin, which is headed up by managing director Tim France, has been awarded a substantial contract covering a broad range of digital design, implementation and training services for Sysnet Global Solutions, its associate company SaaS Markets and its partners, which include a well known UK banking institution.
The firm has also won business from Danone, for work on the Milupa range, and will be working on Shelton Distributors’ digital marketing strategy for brands that include Walkers’ Toffee, Look-o-look and Campbells Shortbread. According to io, these new business wins follow a busy 2011, which saw the agency win Google, The Irish Times and 11850 accounts.
“2011 was a good year for io with new accounts, expansion of the business outside Ireland and recruitment,” said France. “With these new accounts on board, this is a really positive start to 2012 and we are hopeful that we can continue with such growth throughout the year.”
The group’s LA agency, Robot & Child, which was established by io group CEO Doug Baxter in 2011, has also announced a number of account wins, including international online dating site eHarmony’s digital marketing and social media, and social mobile apps publisher, Mobile Deluxe, for which it will be developing user interfaces for mobile gaming apps.
The full brand development for national and international marketing is also underway for Progressigs, the latest range of e-cigarettes developed in the US. All back-end design and development for these international brands will be carried out through the Dublin office.
“The expansion to the US in 2011 allowed the group to move forward and bring the creativity and talents of the io group to a new market,” said Baxter. “With these new account wins, Robot & Child is creating a strong foothold in the creative digital landscape in the US.”
