Doyle hotel group appoints new CEO

Hotel group The Doyle Collection has appointed Pat King to the position of CEO.
King, who was previously the company’s chief financial officer, has over 20 years’ experience in the hotel industry having joined Jurys Doyle Hotel Group plc in 1990.
He was appointed CFO of Jurys Doyle Hotel Group in 2006, where he played a key role in the company’s reorganisation during 2007 and the €200m refurbishment of its hotels, culminating in the launch of the international brand, The Doyle Collection, in 2008.
King is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a former president of the Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers.
“Pat has played a key role in the development and launch of The Doyle Collection as a luxury brand and he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role,” said the group’s chairman, Bernie Gallagher. “I am confident that The Doyle Collection will continue to excel in the luxury hotel market under Pat’s leadership.”
The Doyle Collection has 11 hotels in Dublin, Cork, London, Bristol, Boston and Washington DC, including The Westbury Hotel in Dublin; The Marylebone, The Bloomsbury and The Kensington Hotels in London; The Dupont Circle Hotel in Washington DC; and The Back Bay Hotel in Boston.
