02.02.2012
Sky Media Ireland, the TV and online media sales arm of BSkyB, will add two new channels to its current portfolio of 16 pay TV brands over the next couple of months.
While the Sky Living +1 and Sky2 are already available to Irish viewers, they have only carried UK ads until now. Sky Living +1 is set to carry Irish advertising for the first time from 5 March, while Sky2 will follow suit from 2 April.
“Sky Media continues to invest and innovate in Ireland, whilst offering Irish advertisers increased choice and value in the market,” said Richard Kelly, sales director, Sky Media Ireland. “The addition of Sky2 and Sky Living +1 is set to grow our commercial audience share”.
Sky Media Ireland’s current portfolio includes Sky1, Sky Atlantic, Sky News, Sky Sports 1 and 2, Sky Sports News, MTV, Discovery and Comedy Central.
